Tag You're It! Challenge #7

I am participating in this week's Tag You're It Challenge. Here is our inspiration:

I am still on a Christmas card kick over here and since I don't have many Christmas stamps I decided to pull out a VERY old set to make this card. I was first introduced to card making about ten years ago.....that essentially meant that I attended SU parties of a friend who was a demonstrator and bought stamps that I never used. I pulled out a set that I don't think has ever been inked up but I have kept it this long as I always thought it was so cute!

Here is my card:

I used a Little Inkers Stitched Rectangle die on some PTI Aqua Mist cardstock to create my cardbase. Then, I diecut two Reverse Confetti Tags and then stamped and fussy cut the little sweater from SU's very ancient set called Bundled Up. The sentiment that came in this set was too large for my card so I was lucky enough to find this Paper Smooches sentiment in my stash. Lastly, I added some ribbon and twine (from Michaels and Etsy respectively).

This "Bundled Up" set also has some cute mittens and a toque (winter hat) that I may have to use on some upcoming projects!

Thanks for visiting!

  1. This is adorable! Bundled Up was one of my first stamp sets and I still love it and use it. If you don't mind I will CASE your card for a holiday card drive.

  2. Very cute card! Love the red and aqua colors together! :0)

  3. It is cute Megan! I love your little sweater and this adorable tag card, so glad you played along. I have way to many Christmas stamps, but I do love them all. Thanks for joining us at Tag You’re It !

  4. I adore this Megan! Everything compliments the sweater. The shape of the tags, the 'sassy' sentiment, the color combo. Well done!
