CAS(E) this Sketch #90

Hello!

Happy long weekend! I had a super busy week at work as it was my first week back after my vacation. I am glad it is a long weekend. I took the kids to the park this morning and then I had a chance to make some cards this afternoon. Here is one that I made for this week's CASE this sketch challenge.

Here is our sketch:

And here is my card:

I used my PTI Star Prints and KIS Birthday stamps. For the stars, I colored them with three different SU markers and then fussy cut them. I also used my PTI Wood Impression coverplate for the card base and the banner is from Reverse Confetti. Enjoy your weekend!

Hello!

Today is the PTI August Blog Hop! It is also my first day back to work after two weeks vacation. Luckily, I had time to put together some cards before today!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Tropical Trip

Hello,

I came across the photo for this week's Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge and I just had to play along. Check out the inspiration photo:

I love the colors in this one and as soon as I saw "Tobago" on the top sign I knew I had to join in as my mom is from Trinidad and Tobago!

Here is my card:

I pulled out an old SU stamp set called Seeing Spots to stamp the background and then used my PTI Summer Sweetness stamps and die. I added some clear embossing powder to the popsicles for some shine and the patterned paper is from Echo Park.

Stamp-a-faire Timer Challenge

Hello!

Today is Stamp-a-faire over at PTI. I don't have much time to participate in the festivities today but I had a chance to put together a card this afternoon. The Morning Timer Challenge gave you a choice of 5 sketches and 5 color combos. You are challenged to make a card in under 20 minutes. My time was 6:43. A record for me as most of my cards take MUCH longer than that! Here are the ones I picked:

I used my PTI Star Prints and Keep it Simple Thank-You stamp sets. This was quick, easy and fun! Hope you are enjoying the challenges! Have a great weekend!

I'm back!

I just got back from an amazing vacation in Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. I loved every minute of it but am also happy to be back home with my little ones.

I had a moment this afternoon to make a card for this week's MIM, here it is:

I made this card for an upcoming Baptism. I used my PTI Modern Cross Quilt Coverplate to make the background. I just placed the diecut pieces in a random pattern. Then, I added a PS sentiment that I embossed on a RC banner. Lastly, I added some PPP sequins.

Make It Monday #174: Diamond Wallpaper Stamping

Hello! I am popping in with a card for this week's Make it Monday. I have not done much background stamping so this was fun and a little different for me.

Here is my card:

I used two triangles from my PTI Sketched Shapes stamp set to create a diamond and the little circles are from PTI's Ruby Rose. I embossed the sentiment white and added some foam adhesive to it for some dimension.
