Top 10 of 2014

Hello!

Well it has been awhile since I have been able to share a card but I will be back with something new soon! Time has just flown by! I attended a conference in Orlando in late November and as soon as I returned my husband traveled to Vancouver for work. Once he returned, he was busy studying for a big exam that he completed on December 6th. After that I was busy getting ready for the holidays and for my family to come visit. My parents arrived on December 14th and my brother and his family arrived on December 20th. We have been having a wonderful vacation!

So, with all that going on I have not had any time to papercraft.... but wanted to stop in and share some of my favorite cards from 2014.

Here are my top 10 favs in no particular order!

It has been about a year since I started this blog and I am so glad I did! I never thought I would be able to keep up with it but has been surprisingly easy and fun! I will be spending a bit more time with my family this week and then hope to be able to get back to crafting! I got both a box of crafty goodies and  a Silhouette for Christmas.....can't wait to put them to good use!

I hope you have a wonderful New Year! Thanks for visiting!

A little Christmas gift...

Hello!

It has been awhile since I have been in to share... life has been busy with not too much time to craft. I have been working on putting together a little gift of homemade cards for a gift exchange at work. We are supposed to buy/bring three of the same gift (something you love valued at about $10) for a  "Favorite Things" gift exchange.  I, of course, thought of stamping and decided to put together three little baskets.

I tried to take some pictures this afternoon but my camera was dead :( So I had to take pictures with my phone....sorry they are not the best.

I included 4 Christmas cards with envelopes, 2 Christmas tags, 1 gift card box and a berry basket.

Here are some photos:

( I cased the PTI City Scene card from Nichole Heady)

I bought some Wilton Cookie packaging from Winners which included some small cardboard cookie trays and perfect sized cellophane bags. I put some decorative tissue in the tray, added my basket on top and wrapped it up with a tag and some ribbon.

I will be busy baking this weekend and hopefully working on some more DIY gifts for my son's NINE teachers! (He attends a full day Montessori/daycare and there are lots of amazing staff in the classroom). I hope to be back to share!

Thanks for visiting!
