PTI February Blog Hop

Hello!

Today is Papertrey Ink's February Blog Hop! The theme this month is spring and here is our inspiration:

 

 I decided to focus on pastel colors for the challenge and I made two cards.

For my first card, I used some Echo Park patterned paper and  PTI's Double Ended Banner Die. Then I used a Fillable Frames stamp and die and a sentiment, which is embossed in gold,  from Birthday Style. The ribbon is PTI's Aqua Mist.

The next card I made uses PTI's white, Lemon Tart, Sweet Blush and Lavender Moon cardstock. I used the Happy Hearts coverplate and the sentiment, which is again embossed in gold, is from the Pedal Pusher stamp set. The banner die is from SSS.

CAS(E) this Sketch #65

Hello,

I made a card today based on this sketch:

I used PTI's White, Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist and Sweet Blush cardstock. The leaves are from Lawn Fawn's stiched leaves dies and the sentiment is on a tilted banner die from SSS. I embossed the sentiment in gold which is from an old SU set. Lastly I added a few sequins.

Make It Monday #152: Layering Dye & Pigment Inks- Take 2

Hello,

I made a card for a little guy who is celbrating his first birthday this week. I used a similar style on his twin sister's card which I posted yesterday. I again used a polka dot background stamp with some white pigment ink as my background. But this time it didn't show up as well....I think it is because the sketched circles are already textured....oh well....I promise you there are pigment ink polka dots there!  I used PTI's Sketched Shapes and the balloons are from PTI's Birthday Style.

Make It Monday #152: Layering Dye & Pigment Inks

Hello,

Here is a card for this week's MIM challenge, which is to layer a dye ink over a pigment ink. My friend has twins who are celebrating their first birthday next week. So I first decided to make a card  for the little girl. I used some white pigment ink and a polka dot background stamp from my stash. I then used the candle stamp from PTI's Birthday Style. I also used PTI's double ended banner die for the sentiment. I will be back later with another card for her twin brother!

PTI 7th Anniversary Day 7 Take 2

Hello,

I decided to make one more card for today's challenge, which was to use stripes. I used the Super Star Border Die and the sentiment is from the Star Prints stamp set. I thought this would be nice for a non-traditional baby card. Taking pictures at night is tricky...so in case you are wondering, the base is Soft Stone and the stars are cut in Sweet Blush and Autumn Rose.

PTI 7th Anniversary Day 7

Hello,

Today's challenge was to use stripes. I decided to use my Chevron Stripes Border die. I like that this die has both a narrow and wide stripe. For this card I used them both!

Hello,

I have one more Happy One Liner Die (I split the set with a friend), so I decided to make one more quick card. The cardstock colors are Soft Stone and Lavender Moon. I added some navy enamel dots because I thought it need a little something....Sorry for the dark pictures but they are taken at night!

PTI Timer Challenge

Hello!

I am participating in PTI's Timer Challenge. Basically you have 7 minutes to gather 7 supplies, then 17 minutes to make a card.

My supplies are: white, Pure Poppy and Enchanted Evening cardstock, Happy Hearts cover plate,"Sending Prayers" stamp from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set,  Versamark ink and gold Perfect Pearls.

 

It is difficult to see the sentiment in this lighting....but it is there:)
