Make It Monday #150: Window Screen Cards

I am participating in PTI's MIM this week. I decided to use my happy hearts cover plate for the first time. I made a non-traditional baby card for a friend....I love this sentiment from this set....I think it is perfect for a new mom!

Retrosketches #99

Hello! I am playing along with Retrosketches today.

Here is this week's sketch:

 

I decided to make a card for my friend's little guy who is turning one. I used some patterned paper from Echo Park. The little dog is from Simon Says Stamp's Circle Friends stamp set and I stamped the "WhoHoo" from my new set from The Alley Way Stamps called Gabfest. This is my first alphabet set and I love how I can stamp any words I want!

CAS(E) this Sketch! #61

Hello!

I am playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch this week....another first for me! Here is this week's sketch.

 

When I saw this sketch I immediately thought of PTI's Through the Trees so I decided to pull it out and use it for this card. I embossed the tree in gold and added a Simon Says Stamp heart die with a touch of red Stickles.

PTI January Blog Hop

Hello! I am participating in my first ever PTI Blog Hop! The challenge was to use only pink (along with neutrals) and here is our inspiration:

I used PTI's Sweet Blush, Vintage Cream and Raspberry Fizz cardstock. I stamped Text Style onto the Beautiful Butterflies diecuts and inked up the edges with some distress ink. The sentiment is from Tremendous Treats Birthday.

I also had this patterned paper in my stash (it is a very soft pink) and I couldn't resist making another card...with a touch of gold!

Just a quick thanks to everyone who has visited and/or left comments....I really appreciate it!

I know NOTHING about photography....but am working on taking better pictures! 

I got some Authentique patterned paper for Christmas. Here is a card I made with it. I don't typically use a lot of orange but I like this Orange Zest from PTI....I may have to branch out into their other orange shades.

I also used the SSS Happy die and the sentiment is from PTI's Stylish Sentiments Birthday - one of my all time faves.

MIM Take 2

Hello! Here is another card for PTI's MIM Angled Backgrounds. I was inspired by Leigh's use of vellum over her background in this post. I liked how it muted the bright colors and busy patterned paper. I used PTI's Latte Love stamp set. I also used some Wink of Stella clear glitter on the stack of coffee cups. This is the first time I have used the Wink of Stella glitter pen....I think it is kinda like bacon....it makes everything better! Thanks for looking!
